Arthrogenic Muscle Inhibition: Gluteus Medius, the Ankle, and Beyond
Course Description
This course introduces the phenomenon of arthrogenic muscle inhibition (AMI), especially as it pertains to the gluteus medius and ankle subluxation. Discussed is the evidence behind AMI, its characteristics, consequences, causes, and how it frequently factors into musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions. Further covered are best practice diagnostic and treatment approaches to aid practitioners in solving stubborn MSK injuries and some chronic pain situations.
