Even though what they want and expect are wildly different than what we provide\, it’s still their want\, need or desire. We need to respect that. But how do we navigate what they want VS. what we must do as responsible clinicians in chiropractic? How do we help them adapt a different approach as a solution to their problems without contradicting their paradigms?  in this webinar\, we will answer these dilemmas and more for the modern chiropractor. \nDr. Daniel Bai \nDr. Bill Bazin \nRegister below by clicking the link for this free call to action web series \nhttps://register.gotowebinar.com/register/1320430322410040333

SUMMARY:Robert Silverman\, D.C.
DESCRIPTION:Meet Dr. Silverman \n \nPublic Speaking \n \nStrategies and Protocols for Long-Haulers Syndrome and Post- Support\nFriday\, November 12\, 2021 Virtual LIVE 6:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. (3CEU) \nProtocols for the New Paradigm in Healthcare: Sleep\, Autoimmunity\, Stress\, and Fatigue\nSaturday\, November 13\, 2021\, Virtual LIVE 1:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. (3CEU) \nThis is a 2 day event you must be present both days to receive 6 CEU credits \nProtocols for the New Paradigm in Healthcare: Sleep\, Autoimmunity\, Stress\, and Fatigue \nDescription: Understanding the inflammatory processes that underlie neurodegenerative diseases is key to managing them effectively. New research has led to new functional medicine protocols for treating stress\, fatigue\, sleep\, and autoimmunity. In this new paradigm\, implementing proper diet\, supplementation\, and mental and physical activity\, along with repairing barriers to reduce inflammation\, oxidative stress\, and toxins\, may slow degeneration and help recover some cognitive functions in individuals who have experienced neurological trauma or decline from epileptic seizures\, Parkinson’s disease\, stroke\, AD\, and TBI. \nAdopting an anti-inflammatory diet rich in high polyphenol foods promotes the production of BDNF and enhanced neurogenesis. Lifestyle adaptations such as increased physical activity and social engagement may delay or slow the common cognitive impairment seen in aging. A crucial but often overlooked step is addressing the gut-brain axis. Damage to the barriers of the gut-brain axis must be detected and repaired. When the intestinal wall is permeable\, antigens are translocated into the bloodstream\, triggering autoreactive antibodies that infiltrate the blood-brain barrier and trigger neuroautoimmunity; this process can lead to neurodegeneration. \nClinical assessments for intestinal barrier and blood-brain barrier dysfunction\, systemic bacterial toxins\, and predictive antibodies for neuroautoimmunity should accompany treatment protocols for healing barriers and eliminating gut dysbiosis. \nThis seminar will review known stress and fatigue mechanisms\, environmental factors that influence these processes\, and clinical approaches to maintain and enhance brain-body function.  Additional seminar foci will include breakthroughs in autoimmunity treatment\, emerging thoughts on COVID long-haul syndrome\, and sleep. \nKey Presentation Points: \n\nLearn the aspects of modern lifestyles and the environmental triggers affecting the gut-brain axis and contribute to the autoimmune epidemic.\nUtilize leading-edge protocols to diagnose and treat the COVID long-hauler syndrome.\nFunctional medicine protocols for stress\, sleep\, and fatigue\nProtocols for the new paradigm to attenuate autoimmunity\nIntegrate optimal lifestyle adaptations in diet\, exercise\, and supplement protocols to enhance neuroplasticity and improve quality of life\n\nStrategies and Protocols for Long-Haulers Syndrome and Post- Support \nLong-hauler syndrome\, more formally known as post-acute sequelae of SARS-CoV-2 (PASC)\, is defined as new\, returning\, or ongoing health problems appearing four or more weeks after first being infected with SARS-CoV-2. PASC encompasses a wide range of symptoms. The most common include fatigue\, cognitive dysfunction\, neurological issues\, headache\, loss of taste and smell\, GI issues\, and muscle pain. A functional approach to treating these patients focuses on nutritional support\, reducing inflammation\, resolving intestinal permeability and dysbiosis\, and improved sleep. At the same time\, underlying conditions such as metabolic disorders now need to be addressed expeditiously. Patients with these conditions were more likely to experience severe disease. In addition\, post-vaccine nutritional support for all patients is suggested to minimize side effects and enhance protection. \nIn this cutting-edge\, 3-hour webinar\, Dr. Rob Silverman leads participants through the evolving research on long-hauler syndrome and the latest clinical developments about diagnosis and treatment. He discusses the critical importance of calming post-COVID systemic inflammation through a multi-pronged protocol\, including dietary approaches\, selected nutritional supplements\, and optimizing the gut microbiome. Dr. Silverman also shares his strategies for inflammatory markers testing\, treating respiratory symptoms\, post-vaccine support\, and improving the overall quality of life for long-haul patients. \nTopics to be covered: \n\nCurrent understanding of long-hauler COVID symptoms and prevalence.\nHow COVID-19 infection has long-term impacts on the lung-gut-brain axis and gut microbiome.\nThe role of systemic inflammation in long-hauler COVID.\nUnderstanding blood markers for inflammation.\nStrategies for reducing inflammation\, including diet\, supplements\, and lifestyle improvements.\nEffective nutritional protocols for fatigue and post-vaccine support.\nThe influence of healthy microbiota on susceptibility to viral infections.\nDifferentiate the link between obesity and COVID-19 morbidity and mortality.\nRecognize the possible rise in autoimmunity and increased inflammatory status following recovery from COVID-19 infection.
