$50.00 – $399.00

12 CEU Dan Murphy, DC

This ticket is also being offered virtually.

Hour 1:
• Review the steps in energy production:
Cytoplasm, Krebs Cycle, Electron Transport Chain
• Learn the relationship between energy production and oxidative stress
• Learn the relationship between oxidative stress and inflammation
• Integrate the relationship between energy production, oxidative stress,
inflammation, fibrosis, the chiropractic subluxation, and the chiropractic
adjustment
Hour 2:
• Learn the common denominators between glyphosate and glutathione
• Understand the concept of analogue substitution in protein synthesis
• Understand the relationship between analogue substitution of amino acids,
glutathione, oxidative stress, inflammation, fibrosis, and chiropractic
• Understand the relationship between analogue substitution of amino acids,
collagen degradation and musculoskeletal problems
Hour 3:
Discuss inflammation from the perspective of evolutionary biology and evolutionary
anthropology
• Relate these concepts to tissue fibrosis
• Relate fibrotic tissue changes to chiropractic interventions: adjusting,
exercise, tissue work, etc.
• Investigate prominent causes of systemic inflammation that complicate the
status of local musculoskeletal inflammatory problems

Hour 4:
Inflammation: Understand the “Theory of Everything” related to innate health, what
it is, what are its causes how to measure it, and how to manage it:
• Understand the biochemical basis of pain
• Understand innate adjuncts to pain management
• Understand the Gate Theory of pain and its chiropractic application
• Understand the recent suprasegmental pain inhibitory controls, its
relationship to opiate drugs, and the science of chiropractic spinal adjusting
as an effective, non-addicting alternative to the opiate crisis.
Hour 5:
Learn about biochemistry of essential fatty acids
• Review essential fatty acid imbalances and musculoskeletal pain
• Integrate both diet and supplements in fatty acid balancing
Hour 6:
Learn about excitotoxins and how they influence the perception of pain
• Integrate the relationship between glutamate, aspartate, aspartame, calcium,
magnesium and manganese
• Learn about the physiology of magnesium as protective against
neurodegenerative diseases and chronic pain
Hour 7:
Glycosylation: learn what it is and what it does to the aging process.
• Integrate intervertebral disc glycosylation, disc degeneration, discogenic
nociceptive chemistry, and chiropractic care
• Learn the key causes and factors in causing and preventing glycosylation

Hour 8:
Reviewing the musculoskeletal and immunological importance of vitamin D
• Review the biochemistry of vitamin D, integrating sun exposure, supplements
latitudes, skin pigmentation, liver health, and kidney health
• Integrate vitamin D and its synergy with vitamin K and magnesium.
Hour 9:
Learn about the importance of mitochondria as the cellular powerhouse, the
epicenter of aging, and the primary producer of reactive oxygen species
• Learn about the mitochondria and sports/physical stamina performance
• Learn about enhancing mitochondria with exercise and fasting
• Learn factors that impair mitochondrial function
• Learn about the nutrients that promote mitochondrial efficiency rejuvenation
Hour 10:
Learn about leaky gut and systemic inflammation
• Integrate the relationship between leaky gut and the microbiome, lectins,
glyphosate, antibiotics, and nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs
• Review the connection between the microbiome and the chiropractic
adjustment
Hour 11:
Learn about melatonin and cell physiology
• Review the biochemistry of pineal gland melatonin production
• Review the biochemistry mitochondria melatonin production
• Review the relationship between diet, B vitamins, serotonin, pain suppression,
dopamine, and melatonin
• Integrate chiropractic adjustment, blood flow, cellular fermentation, cellular
respiration, melatonin, and the cytokine storm

Hour 12:
• Introduce the concept of survival v. longevity proteins, vitamins and minerals
as related to micronutrient competition.
• Learn what nutrients are related and most deficient in modern America.
• Learn the nutrients that are sufficient in youth but not as we age, and
therefore should be supplemented.
